Case Notes #2 : Renovations and Excursions
Two new playable levels were added: the office and the mission area, along with a plethora of new and exciting functionalities.
New developments:
Office
A new and freshly renovated office working as the main hub for buying and equipping new weapons, ammo, and all sorts of other gizmos.
Techno-Rats Mission Area
A mission area, where contracts will be taking place going forward. Beware, ‘ere be Technorats. Bring a gun. Or two.
Shooting with guns
You can now buy and shoot with 3 different guns: Silenced pistol, Plasma pistol, and Uzi. You know what they say, variation is the spice of life. Or in this case, death.
Nobody can hear if you scream in space...
... Except now! Added music to the game, ambient sounds, sound FX to various items.
Added
- Added temporary main menu to the game.
“Today’s temporal is tomorrow’s permanent”. A good rule to life really, not just for software development. Man, listen to me, a regural robo-Socrates over here, huh? - Added Tier 3 Techno-rat enemy.
The lowest on the ‘Rat pecking order. Don’t underestimate them though, a hitman who gets cocky is liable to end up with extra ventilation holes in this business. - You can now repair yourself and buy ammo in your Dock.
Bullets and spare parts, the lifeblood of any true hitman. - You can damage enemies
Kinda important for the whole…hitman thing, you know?
Bug fixes
- Fixed some animations.
- Fixed some menus.
- Tried to make encyclopedia more readable.
- Prevented interaction button from being used if player is not near any interactable item.
- Various ui related fixes.
- Fixed z-order for many items.
